Job summary

Miller Valentine Construction is seeking a preconstruction professional to support the Project Execution team with due diligence, design, scheduling, and estimating efforts for multiple projects.

The role involves assisting the Business Development team with sales strategies, preparing conceptual designs, budgets, and schedules, and participating in internal or external business groups. Team collaboration and accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction-related education and experience.
• Estimating experience, ideally from internships or coursework.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Procore and CAD/Take-off tools.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preconstruction and design phase tasks, cost estimates and take-offs.
• Support project execution team and sales with budgets and schedules.
• Travel to meetings and gather customer insights.
• Prepare bid documents and maintain organized project files in Procore.
• Contribute to value engineering and alternative solutions.
