Job summary

MPI in Indianapolis seeks an estimator to own the full estimating lifecycle—from conceptual budgets to hard bid—driving pricing, scope, and strategy on complex commercial projects.

You will partner with designers, PMs, and suppliers, leverage cost data and value engineering, and lead bid reviews to deliver accurate, competitive estimates and contribute to the growth of the Indianapolis operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial GC estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of preconstruction and estimating.
• Ability to collaborate with PMs, field teams, and leadership.
• Proficient with estimating software and construction technology.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own estimates from conceptual budgets through hard bid.
• Partner with architects and design teams for budgeting and cost analysis.
• Drive subcontractor and supplier procurement by bid analysis.
• Maintain cost histories and estimating databases.
• Lead estimate reviews with design, construction, and project teams.
• Provide conceptual pricing and value-engineering solutions.
