Job summary

3G Companies in the Midwest seeks an estimator/construction professional to manage staff and resources for estimating and preconstruction. You will ensure quality budgets and client-ready estimates, bidding processes, and effective communication with clients, trade partners, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, safety, and professional standards. Onsite with travel to multiple sites, strong cost analysis, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, Modelogix, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Knowledge of preconstruction process, budgeting and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual budgets, estimates, schedules and proposals.
• Complete and organize quantity takeoffs.
• Review labor, material and trade costs for accuracy.
• Solicit bids from trade partners and suppliers.
• Review bid documents to ensure cost alignment.
• Identify issues in project documents and provide feedback.
• Develop value engineering options and participate in budget reviews.
