Job summary

Nibbi Brothers General Contractors is seeking an Estimator to analyze project information and assemble budgets, bids, and proposals. Occasional travel is required; reports to Senior Preconstruction Project Manager or Director of Preconstruction.

The role requires 2–3 years of estimating experience, strong math and plan-reading skills, and proficiency with Primavera 6, Destini, Building Connected, Procore and MS Office. Join a team focused on quality and safe, collaborative project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical degree and 2-3 years of estimating experience.
• Must have advanced math skills and ability to visualize in 2D and 3D.
• Strong reading of plans, specifications and related project documents.
• Knowledge of risk evaluation and understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Function as a conduit for project stakeholders advancing the project forward during the preconstruction phase.
• Site visits to review existing conditions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, construction managers, project teams, consultants, architects and government agencies.
• Review all project documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and budgets.
• Lead the creation of proposals and bids.
• Develop bid documents and vet subcontractors for bid scope.
• Lead pre-bid meetings and manage bid lists.
