Essenti Talent seeks a Pre-construction Estimator to oversee and assist in estimating, procurement, and bid preparations for construction projects. The role emphasizes developing client relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and creating clear, compelling bids.

You will support preconstruction strategies, manage subcontractor relations, and help prepare proposals and presentations to clients. Travel to client sites may be required, with potential relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-construction estimating and bid development.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare quantities and takeoffs.

Responsabilités

• Assist Pre-construction Managers with procurement of estimating information and task completion.
• Assist in preconstruction training, scheduling and performance.
• Contribute to strategies for new business development, marketing, and client relationships.
• Establish new client relationships and maintain existing ones.
• Procure documents, plans and specifications and assemble proposals, bids and client presentations.
• Participate in preconstruction strategies and proposals.
• Create clear scopes of work for subcontractor bids included in proposals.
• Assist in subcontractor/vendor procurement and vetting.
• Maintain subcontractor database.
• Support competitive bidding, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations with preconstruction leadership.
• Analyze project risk factors on a case-by-case basis.
• Create takeoffs and quotations for bids with subcontractors/vendors.
• Learn estimating software and procedures to formulate estimates.
• Maintain estimating records and assist in hand-offs to Construction.
• Support estimating in marketing material.
• canvass market for new construction/renovation projects.
• Contact owners/architects/engineers to generate leads.
• Distribute marketing material to potential clients and follow up.
• Coordinate bid proposals and ensure forms are complete.
• Liaise for bid bonds, and insurance requests.
• Collaborate with estimators on projects and bids.
• Maintain document control during bids.
• Review proposals for completeness.
