Job summary

Struction Solutions is seeking a Constructability Review Specialist to support the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative during preconstruction. This role reviews project requirements and design documents to identify issues before bidding and construction.

The position focuses on coordinating across design disciplines, identifying constructability concerns, and preparing comprehensive reviews of pre-bid documents. Candidates must meet one of two senior-level experience paths.

Qualifications

15 years of full-time, paid professional experience in architecture and/or construction administration or construction management.
Public or educational facility project experience is required with high-value projects.
Two years of college coursework with five years of additional experience may substitute for the education requirement.

Responsibilities

Review the Project Requirement Document, scope of work, schedule, and interim housing requirements.
Recommend value engineering opportunities early in design.
Review progress plans for inconsistencies, ambiguities, conflicts, errors, and omissions.
Check that documents are coordinated across design disciplines.
Prepare comprehensive constructability reviews of pre-bid construction documents.
Coordinate findings and recommendations with the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative.
Perform other duties as assigned.
