Job summary

Gallant is seeking a Preconstruction Coordinator to join our Preconstruction Services team in supporting the Construction Estimator and Preconstruction Project Manager with bids and proposals. You will gather information, distribute bids to subcontractors, and help qualify bids for timely submission.

You will schedule site visits, coordinate bid walks, and ensure bids are organized, complete, and communicated across multiple teams. Strong MS Office skills and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a coordinator or administrative role within construction or related field.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience handling detailed project documentation and bid management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bid invitations and project information to subcontractors.
• Receive, track, and organize bids from subcontractors.
• Qualify bids and ensure all required documentation is submitted.
• Assist in the preparation of estimates and proposals.
• Support preconstruction activities by scheduling site visits, bid walks, and meetings as needed.
• Work closely with the Construction Estimator and Preconstruction APM to ensure all project details are properly managed.
• Maintain organized records of bidding documents and correspondence.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Assist with project budgeting and forecasting as required.
