Talent With Heart is seeking a Welding Engineer to own welding processes for precision components. You will develop repeatable joining methods, resolve production challenges, and partner with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve weld integrity and product performance.

Responsibilities include welding procedure development, process evaluation, trials, and training of production staff while ensuring safe operations and compliant records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding metallurgy, drawings, weld symbols, inspection methods, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting welding processes in manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze problems and communicate corrective actions with teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and optimize welding procedures and tooling.
• Evaluate materials and joint designs to establish reliable processes.
• Support qualification activities and maintain technical records.
• Investigate weld defects and lead root cause analysis with teams.
• Collaborate with design to improve manufacturability.
• Plan trials and support inspection, testing, and transfer to production.
• Train personnel on methods and write work instructions.
• Evaluate equipment and process improvements to reduce scrap and cycle time.
• Ensure safe operations.
