Job summary

Flowserve in Utah seeks a skilled welder to join a customer-focused production team. You will weld parts using MIG, MAG, TIG, or stick, read blueprints, and prepare parts for assembly.

The role involves setting up equipment, maintaining quality, and meeting deadlines in a manufacturing environment. Overtime and weekend work may be required. A HS diploma and 5–7 years of welding experience are preferred. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 5-7 years welding experience preferred.
• Welding certification preferred.
• Experience in mechanical manufacturing or valve industry is a plus.
• SAP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Select the appropriate welding method (TIG, MIG, MAG or stick) for the job.
• Plan layouts from blueprints and specs using shop math.
• Set up and operate welding-related machinery and inspect parts.
• Verify quality and meet production goals for safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues; collaborate with machinists.
• Record data on systems or logs; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Welding in manufacturing or repair environment; overtime/weekends as required.
• Discuss work with manager throughout the process.
