Job summary

Anderson Dahlen is seeking a Welder to plan and execute welding, layout, fitting, cutting, and assembly on structural and sheet metal components. You will weld a full range of materials using GMAW, GTAW, plasma, oxyacetylene, and brazing, selecting appropriate electrodes and maintaining quality per drawings and specs.

The role requires working from blueprints, fixtures, and precision instruments, ensuring tight tolerances and clean bead profiles.

Qualifications

• The Welder performs welding, layout, fitting, cutting, and assembly per standards and customer specs.
• Wields multiple welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, plasma, oxyacetylene) and selects rods, wires, tips, electrodes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform welding, layout, fitting, cutting, and assembly on structural and sheet metal components.
• Weld a full range of materials and sizes using multiple processes and ensure proper penetration, fusion, and distortion control.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols; fit parts using fixtures and measuring instruments; inspect finished work.
