Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Connects cables to welding unit and sets amperage/voltage as directed.
• Starts power supply and forms arc to deposit weld metal.
• Welds in flat, horizontal, or vertical positions and inspects bead size.
• Prepares workpieces, cleans joints, and repairs components as needed.
• Preheats pieces and clamps assemblies in jig or fixture.
• Maintains equipment and ensures a safe work environment.
