You will ensure accurate entry, verification, and clearance of warrants, supporting Records Unit operations and maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to complete background screening and obtain certifications.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that enables performing essential functions.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Enter warrants into local, state, and federal systems in accordance with procedures.
• Review warrant documentation for completeness prior to entry.
• Modify existing warrant records when updated information is received.
• Clear warrants promptly with appropriate documentation.
• Perform second checks of warrant entries to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Compare source documentation against system entries for accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections before finalizing transactions.
• Maintain documentation of warrant entries and quality-control reviews.
• Follow procedures for handling confidential information.
• Communicate with Records personnel, law enforcement, courts, and other agencies to resolve discrepancies.
• Prioritize warrant transactions based on urgency.
• Assist with warrant-related audits, validations, and records reconciliation.
• Maintain required certifications and complete applicable training.
• Perform other related Records or criminal justice information duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
