Job summary

Sysco in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately pick products, prepare orders, and stack pallets for shipping. You will read orders from label screens, attach labels, operate an electric pallet jack, and move merchandise to the dock while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Must be 18+, able to lift 10–75 lbs, stand 10–12 hours, and work in coolers/freezers. Prior warehouse experience is a plus; training provided to ensure GMP and SQF compliance.

Qualifications

• Read orders from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble orders from stock and place on pallets in correct sequence.
• Attach labels on products.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move to correct slot location and to dock for staging.
• Handle products with care.
• Report damage to supervisor and follow safety procedures.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in facility cleanup and sign off daily areas.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Properly operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to proceed to correct slot location, and transport product to dock area for staging.
• Handle products with the necessary care.
• Report any damage of merchandise, equipment or facility to a supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in the clean-up of the facility and sign off on the daily cleaning area that the supervisor may assign.
• Sign in and out for all equipment when used.
• Use basic communication skills to understand work systems, instructions, etc.
• Adhere to all applicable GMP, personal hygiene, and SQF policies and procedures.
