Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Warehouse Associate to efficiently select products in the warehouse and prepare orders for shipping. You will stack products in an orderly, stable configuration while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include reading orders, assembling pallets, labeling, operating a pallet jack or forklift, and reporting any damages. You will perform daily equipment checks and help with facility cleaning as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Able to lift 10–75 lb and up to 100 lb frequently.
• Frequent reach up to 72 inches.
• Bend and twist while operating pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Work in cooler or freezer environments.
• Stand for 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and palletize in the correct sequence.
• Attach labels on products.
• Operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to correct slots and move to the dock for staging.
• Handle products with care.
• Report any damage to merchandise, equipment, or facility.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in facility clean-up and sign off on assigned areas.
• Sign in/out for all equipment used.
• Use basic communication to understand work systems and instructions.
• Adhere to GMP, personal hygiene, and SQF policies per Sysco Food Safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
