Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately select products in the warehouse and prepare them for shipping. You will stack items, ensure stability, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while following GMP and SQF guidelines.

Responsibilities include reading orders, assembling and labeling, operating pallet jacks or forklifts, and reporting any damage. This role requires endurance to stand 10–12 hours daily and lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year relevant work experience.
• Frequent lift of 10–75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequent reach up to 72 inches.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler/freezer).
• Stand 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders from label screen and pick product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets in proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate electric pallet jack to move to correct slot location and stage at dock.
• Handle products with care and report any damage to supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks and sign off on cleaning area as assigned.
• Sign in/out for all equipment used and follow work instructions.
• Communicate to understand systems and policies; follow GMP and SQF guidelines.
