Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Houston, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately and efficiently select products from the warehouse, assemble customer orders, stack pallets in order, and prepare shipments while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

You will operate an electric pallet jack, attach labels, report any damage, perform daily equipment checks, and adhere to GMP and SQF policies as described in Sysco Food Safety Training manuals, ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0-1 year of relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift 10-75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler/freezer).
• Stand for 10-12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move to correct slot location and transport product to dock for staging.
• Handle products with care and report any damage to supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
