Job summary

Vantedge Medical Company in Durham, CT is seeking a Visual Grinding Operator to operate visual grinder machines, set up with fixtures, and maintain quality tolerances on medical components.

You will perform daily checks, document results, and follow safety rules while contributing to continuous improvement in a high-precision shop. The role is full-time, onsite with day shift hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school or technical diploma preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read blueprints and procedure manuals.
• Basic math, algebra and geometry understanding.
• Willingness to work Saturday mornings when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate visual grinder machines to meet tolerances and finishes.
• Set up equipment including fixtures and auxiliary devices.
• Perform daily machine checks and routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of production and measurements.
• Ensure on-time deliveries within design parameters and budgets.
• Analyze and improve machining methods to cut costs and raise quality.
• Keep a clean, safe work environment following 6S standards.
