Job summary

Vantedge Medical is seeking a Visual Inspector for the 2nd shift. This on-site, full-time role involves operating various machining equipment and performing visual inspections with strict adherence to work instructions and 6S standards in a clean, safe environment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience is a plus. You will document labor hours, maintain traceability, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced medical device

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred; Technical School Diploma beneficial.
Ability to read and comprehend MOI’s, Work Instructions, Quality Bulletins.
Strong communication and math skills; able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate machining equipment such as air presses, milling, drilling, pad printers, laser welders and cutters per M.O.I./Work Instructions.
Perform prepacking, gauging and visual inspections; verify gauges are correct and calibrated before each operation.
Ensure product ID and traceability by filling required paperwork (Followers, Inspection Ticket).
Enter labor hours in MES; monitor personal time and attendance weekly.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment following 6S standards.
Follow all H&M procedures and policies; use PPE where required (F2412/F2413 safety shoes).
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including the Idea System.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
