Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years of related experience or equivalent.
• Two-year college/technical school AA degree preferred with related experience.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and listening skills with customers.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read technical manuals and reference materials.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues and determine required repairs.
• Perform engine, electrical, and mechanical repairs per standards.
• Inspect vehicles to identify safety or service needs.
• Test drive and verify repairs; ensure serviceability and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; manage parts and supplies.
• Communicate with Service Advisor for additional work and approvals.
• Document all work performed on repair orders.
