Job summary

McKenzie Valve & Machining in Tennessee is seeking a Valve assembler for the second shift to perform maintenance, repair, and testing on various industrial valves. You will follow schematics and QA standards while disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, measuring, reassembling, and testing components.

The ideal candidate will complete calibration and documentation and communicate progress to management and customers to ensure timely, quality results.

Qualifications

• Repair and testing of various valves including ball, gate, butterfly, and safety relief valves.
• Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly, and testing of valves.
• Follow schematics and documented procedures per Quality Control and ASME/National Board standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing on various types of industrial valves.
• Calibrate and document testing and repairs.
• Communicate updates to management, coworkers, and customers to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with safety manager to ensure OSHA compliance.
