Job summary

McKenzie Valve & Machining is seeking a Valve Assembler to perform repair, testing, and assembly of various industrial valves. The role includes calibrating, documenting testing activities, and ensuring compliance with Quality Control and ASME standards.

The position is second shift with full benefits on day one, including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, and a 401(k) match. You will collaborate with a safety-focused team to meet deadlines and quality goals in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Repair and testing of various valves, including ball, gate, butterfly, and safety relief valves.
• Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly, and testing of valves.
• Follow schematics and procedures per Quality Control and ASME National Board standards.
• Complete calibration and documentation related to testing and repairs.
• Communicate timely updates to management, coworkers, and customers to ensure timely completion.
• Work with coworkers, management, and safety on OSHA and safety compliance.

The Valve assembler position performs maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing on various types of industrial valves.

Job Requirements:

• Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc.
• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly, and testing of valves.
• Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and ASME National Board standards that apply to the job.
• Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
• Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
• Works closely with co-workers, management, and safety manager to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
