Job summary

McKenzie Valve & Machining is seeking a Valve Assembler to maintain, repair, and test a range of industrial valves. The role covers disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measurement, reassembly, and testing in line with QC and ASME standards.

You will calibrate and document results, communicate updates to management, coworkers, and customers, and work with safety teams to ensure OSHA compliance. This is a second shift position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Repair and testing of valves including ball, gate and butterfly types.
• Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measurement and reassembly.
• Follow schematics and documented procedures per QC and ASME standards.
• Complete calibration and documentation for testing and repairs.
• Communicate updates to management, coworkers and customers.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Perform valve repair and testing to specification.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, measure and reassemble components.
• Document calibration and testing results accurately.
• Adhere to QC processes and ASME standards.
• Provide timely status updates to team and customers.
• Collaborate with safety and operations to stay compliant.
