Job summary

PPOAR in Atlanta seeks a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team. This full-time role offers visa sponsorship for eligible Indian candidates and opportunities to work on books, magazines, and marketing materials.

You will format, typeset, proofread, and collaborate with editors to ensure accurate layouts and typography under tight deadlines, maintaining consistency across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role.
• Familiarity with typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress.
• Strong understanding of typography layout and design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Format and typeset various documents including books magazines and marketing materials.
• Ensure accuracy of layout font styles and other design elements.
• Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure consistency in style and formatting.
• Proofread final layouts for errors or inconsistencies.
• Make necessary adjustments based on client feedback or design changes.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and software updates.
