Opensity Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Proofreader to review legal and marketing documents with accuracy and consistency. You will perform proofreading and light document processing, ensuring high standards in grammar, spelling, and formatting, while upholding confidentiality and brand guidelines.

The role requires strong English proficiency, familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style, Bluebook, and California Style Manual, plus the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3+ years proofreading experience; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work through complex document markups and instructions in a timely manner.
• Flexibility to work overtime or change shift to accommodate Firm needs.
• Knowledge of AP style guide.
• Copywriting experience helpful
• Ability to take direction from designers and writers.

Responsibilities

• Proofread documents for errors in typing, spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation and formatting.
• Serve as a resource for grammar, spelling, and current usage.
