Job summary

Assurance Manufacturing is seeking a Turret Set Up specialist for the 2nd shift at our Coon Rapids facility. You will set up turret tooling, inspect first pieces, and read blueprints to ensure precision components are produced to spec.

Responsibilities include deburring, minor machine maintenance, and logging production data. The role emphasizes teamwork, 5S organization, and adherence to safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Knowledge of turret function and operation is required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up turret tooling using job cards or load sheets.
• Check that correct material is used and verify first piece inspection.
• Deburr, denib, file, and edge parts as needed.
• Make machine adjustments and perform minor maintenance.
• Maintain logs and reports for production and maintenance.
• Follow ISO procedures and work routings.
• Keep 5S - clean and organized work area.
• Cross-train in other plant areas when needed.
• Adhere to safety rules and perform other duties.
