Job summary

Assurance Manufacturing is seeking a Turret Set Up on 2nd shift for our Coon Rapids, MN facility. Join a team that values precision, quality, and safety in a modern manufacturing environment.

You will set up turret tooling, verify first-piece quality, and maintain accurate production logs. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in manufacturing, and ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of proper turret function and operation required.
• Ability to operate hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand written English.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.
• Must have enough manual dexterity for precision work.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up turret tooling using job cards, setup sheets and/or load sheets.
• Ensure proper material is used and check the first piece.
• Deburr, denib, file, edge, and timesave parts when required.
• Make adjustments and perform minor maintenance on machines as needed.
• Follow directions from team leader or supervisor.
• Maintain logs and reports on production and maintenance.
• Inventory tools and materials; contact material handler when needed.
• Follow ISO procedures including Control of Nonconforming Product.
• Periodically check products for quality and alert supervisor of issues.
• Follow work orders and gather required tools based on instructions.
• Keep equipment and work area clean per 5S practices.
• Notify supervisor of faulty equipment or defective materials.
• Cross-train in other plant areas to meet demand.
• Adhere to safety rules and guidelines.
