Lake Air Products is seeking a Turret Laser Combo Operator for 2nd shift in Vadnais Heights, MN. You will set up and operate turret, laser, and combo fabrication equipment to produce quality sheet metal parts per blueprints and customer specs.

The role requires strong blueprint reading, measurement, troubleshooting, and machine setup skills, with safety and quality standards emphasized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of experience operating/setting up turret punch press machines (LVD Strippit) in metal fabrication preferred.
• Excellent people skills and ability to collaborate with leadership.
• Integrity, credibility and mission alignment.
• Flexible, capable of multi-tasking in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify proper loading and surface preparation, confirm machine settings and tooling.
• Start and observe machine operation, detect malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance.
• Punch parts across a range of materials, diameters, and shapes.
• Observe for defects, document actions in production and quality forms.
• Study blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances and setup requirements.
• Determine tool position and optimize machine efficiency.
