Assurance Manufacturing is seeking a Turret Set Up for the 2nd shift at our Coon Rapids facility in Minnesota. This role performs turret setup, inspection, and minor maintenance to ensure quality parts are produced efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Knowledge of proper turret function and operation required.
• Ability to operate hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand written English.
• Basic understanding of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints.
• Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
• Ability to measure parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.
• Works well as a productive member of a team.
• Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, and writing.
• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
• Must be able to see details at close range well enough to safely and adequately perform the essential functions of the position.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to wear gloves and ear protection.

Responsabilités

• Set up turret tooling using job cards, setup sheets and/or load sheets.
• Ensure that proper material is being used and check the first piece.
• Deburr, denib, file, edge, and timesave parts when required.
• Make adjustments and perform minor maintenance on machines as needed.
• Follow directions given by the team leader and/or supervisor.
• Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
