Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dependable Turret Operator/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate fabrication equipment to produce quality parts according to customer specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

You will read blueprints, job cards, and work instructions, then position, align, and secure workpieces using fixtures and machine stops. Calipers and micrometers will be used to measure parts, and you will inspect for conformance to specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of related manufacturing experience or training.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and automatic fabrication equipment.
• Read blueprints, job cards, and work instructions.
• Position, align, and secure workpieces with fixtures and stops.
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Inspect parts for quality and report nonconformities.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document quality records.
• Communicate issues to team and participate in continuous improvement.
