Job summary

The Fabricator - Machine Operator position reports to production leadership and requires operating fabrication equipment to produce metal components per blueprints and specs. You will ensure safe operations, quality output, and accurate production records while following procedures and work orders.

Key duties include setting up and adjusting equipment, measuring with precision tools, and reading drawings to meet production requirements with a strong focus on safety and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1–2 years of fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Strong math skills including measurements, geometry, and conversions.
• Good communication, diligence, and time management; welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, rollers, punches, sanders, drills and saws.
• Use calipers, micrometers, rulers, squares and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Maintain safety, quality, and accurate production records.
• Read and interpret parts drawings, process routings, and production requirements.
