Job summary

Acumed LLC is seeking a Machinist for our First Shift to set up and operate turning machines that produce precision parts. You will load/unload materials, inspect surfaces, and monitor performance following SOPs. You will also assist with basic maintenance and safety procedures.

Qualified candidates typically have 1–2 years of related Acumed experience or 3–5 years externally, and a High School diploma or equivalent. English reading and basic math are required, and teamwork is essential.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand documentation in English.
• Basic math skills and teamwork are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turning machines to produce precision parts.
• Load/unload material per SOPs and inspect finished work.
• Monitor machine performance and detect malfunctions.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep work area clean.
• Mentor and train less experienced Machinists as needed.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers to improve cell processes.
