Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• At least 3 years of experience operating the machines competently and efficiently preferred.
• Provide necessary hand tools, and measuring instruments.
• Able to use company gauging.
• Read and understand drawings and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Check the Route Sheet, blueprint, and sketch for operation and install the piece into the machine.
• Measure rough material and divide stock to ensure clean up and check runout in machine.
• Turn the first side per blueprint and Route Sheet, then verify all dimensions.
• Follow bar-coding procedures and set up on appropriate machines and accessories.
• Deburr, stamp, inspect and package parts produced in the cell.
• Read and understand all written work instructions and inform supervisor for assisted setups.
