Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• At least 3 years of experience with the functions of the machines and to operate them competently and efficiently preferred.
• Set-up, program, operate, and run the machine (experience with 5 axis, milling, manual turning, CNC turning, cell cutting & hobbling, tooth grinding).
• Use shop mathematics, micrometers, and measuring instruments.
• Read and understand drawings of product, and understand all written work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, program, operate, and run the machine (experience with 5 axis, milling, manual turning, CNC turning, cell cutting & hobbling, tooth grinding).
• Check the Route Sheet, blueprint, and sketch for the operation and instructions and install piece/part into machine.
• Measure rough material and divide stock to ensure 100% clean up and check run out part in machine.
• Turn the first side per blueprint and Route Sheet instructions; check all dimensions and make corrections.
• Read and understand drawings and work instructions.
