Job summary

Motive Companies, LLC in Torrance, CA is seeking a Machine Operator to support our Cut & Mark production line. You will operate plastic tubing cutting and marking equipment, read specifications, and ensure quality. Set up machines, measure parts with calipers, and follow safety procedures in an onsite production environment.

The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, and pays $23.00 per hour. Training and on-site collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in machine operation or production preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and basic drawings.
• Able to perform basic math and use measuring tools.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic tubing cutting and marking equipment.
• Read job specs, work instructions, POs, and drawings.
• Set up machines and jobs per drawings.
• Measure materials and finished parts with rulers, scales, calipers.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety procedures.
• Enter timekeeping information and generate labels.
• Perform basic machine setup and routine maintenance.
