Job summary

T.M. Cobb Companies is seeking a Molder Operator in San Bernardino, CA. You will set up and operate the molding equipment, install cutter heads, read blueprints, and monitor the process to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, basic math, and the ability to interpret molds and diagrams. This is an in-person, full-time position with competitive benefits and a stable, long-tenure workforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years' relevant experience.
• Operational knowledge of molding machines.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Experience reading blueprints and diagrams.
• Understanding of safety regulations.
• Door, window, or construction background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating the molder.
• Selecting and installing cutting heads on the machine according to the pattern to be cut.
• Inserting and bolting specified knives in slots of cutter heads already in the machine, using gauges and wrenches.
• Inspecting the stock being cut.
• Verifying the dimensions of cut material to ensure they match specifications.
• Interpreting mold blueprints to ensure that the molds are produced accurately.
• Monitoring the molding process by ensuring proper functioning of the machine, watching out for malfunctions, making any required adjustments, and conducting machine maintenance.
