Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, in Appleton, Wisconsin, seeks a Painter for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will apply paint and coatings using electrostatic/air assist guns on trucks, ensure color accuracy, and maintain finish quality. Ability to read paint codes and follow safety procedures is essential.

Openings on 2nd shift include a shift premium, with benefits starting Day 1. Training is provided; sign-on bonus may apply for certain candidates.

Qualifications

• Proficient at reading checklists, paint codes, safety logs and JSA’s.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge in every step of the paint process.
• Knowledge in fine line painting.

Responsibilities

• Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes.
• Mix all types of paints for proper color and viscosity.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and validate color accuracy.
