Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Painter II to prep, prime, and paint truck parts and major components. You will ensure quality finishes, inspect defects, and support training for new hires in a team-focused environment.

Openings on multiple shifts with overtime; benefits start day one and opportunities for career growth. Must be able to read prints and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive painting and/or metal finishing.
• Ability to read truck prints and interpret job tasks.
• Strong safety awareness and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to prep truck parts and panels for painting.
• Apply primer and paint to parts and panels.
• Inspect and fix defects on parts and panels.
• Caulk, tape, and hang parts and panels; rotate between painting, sanding and taping.
• Transport parts and panels to designated areas.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and read truck prints.
