Qualifications

• Ten years of professional Toolmaker/Die/Mold experience or equivalent.
• Strong toolmaking, machining, fitting, and precision manufacturing knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with tight tolerances and precision components.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently complete tooling repairs and modifications.
• Commitment to quality and dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, maintain, and modify precision tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling problems and perform repairs and adjustments.
• Manufacture and fit tooling components to required specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specs.
• Set up and operate toolroom equipment to make/repair tooling components.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect tooling components for wear, damage, and accuracy.
• Maintain tooling areas and follow safety/quality procedures.
