Qualified Staffing in Holly, Michigan is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a full-time, on-site role in a stable production environment. The position emphasizes tooling design, fabrication, and precision workmanship, with a pay range of $23–$30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

The candidate will review tooling needs, design configurations, acquire materials, and build or repair tools to meet production specifications while adhering to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level education or equivalent training.
• 5–10 years of experience in the tool and die trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret designs, specifications, and tooling requirements.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Review required applications and specifications to determine tooling needs.
• Design and develop the most workable tool or die configuration based on application requirements.
• Acquire appropriate materials and process them as needed to fabricate tools and dies.
• Build, modify, and repair tools and dies to meet production and quality requirements.
• Perform test runs on completed dies to ensure proper functionality.
• Make adjustments or corrections as needed to ensure tooling meets specifications.
• Follow all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
