Accelera Staffing seeks a Precision Tooling Specialist to fabricate and maintain high-precision components for our Los Angeles manufacturing operations. You will apply machining and materials knowledge to keep production lines efficient and accurate.

The role requires hands-on experience with precision instruments and a strong reading of engineering blueprints. You will work with carbide tools and hard metals to deliver durable tooling for high-volume production.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in a precision tool-making or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints.
• Expertise in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex setups and precision machining to produce custom tooling components that drive manufacturing throughput.
• Perform expert repairs on header tools and related assemblies to minimize equipment downtime.
• Utilize advanced machining equipment including mills, lathes, surface grinders, and hones to achieve exacting tolerances.
• Work extensively with carbide and hardened tool steels to fabricate durable cutting tools and dies.
• Apply precise shop math and blueprint interpretation to translate engineering requirements into finished parts.
• Maintain a high-standard, organized workspace to ensure safety and operational readiness.
