Job summary

Nidec Corporation is seeking an experienced machinist to build and repair tooling, dies, jams, and fixtures. The role requires reading blueprints, precision measuring, and operating manual and CNC equipment to produce and service tooling across the plant.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with 3–5 years hands-on machining experience and familiarity with imperial/metric measurements. Apprenticeships or technical training are a plus; safety and quality are emphasized in daily

Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED required.
0-2 years of experience in the field or related area.
Apprenticeship and/or formal training may be required.
Knowledge of blueprints and measuring instruments; ability to interpret drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

Produces new tooling to print specifications as well as repair existing tooling.
Services and repairs notching, single hit and progressive dies.
Services tooling throughout plant.
Observe good safety practices.
Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.
