Job summary

PrecisionX Group is seeking a Class A Progressive Tool & Die Maker at our Ditron facility in Stormville, NY. You will design, build, troubleshoot, and optimize high-speed progressive stamping dies for microstamping applications, working with tight tolerances on advanced copper alloys.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in die build in a precision stamping environment, proficiency with GD&T, and hands-on experience with Bruderer high-speed presses (BSTA 30V2 or similar).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of progressive die build experience in stamping.
• Experience troubleshooting die performance on the production floor.
• Familiarity with GD&T and ISO 9001 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Build, bench-test, and repair dies for production.
• Set up and optimize high-speed presses up to 1,200 SPM.
• Work with copper alloys, especially Copper Beryllium (C172).
