Job summary

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in Tool and Die required.
• 1–3 years of experience altering and repairing progressive dies.
• Ability to read drawings and verbal/written specifications.

• Able to use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout and perform bench and machine operations to construct, alter or repair progressive stamping dies.
• Work from drawings, written specifications, and verbal directions; improvise tooling as needed.
• Troubleshoot wear, misalignment, and issues affecting tolerances using microscope progression strip; document findings.
