Job summary

PrecisionX Group in our shop is seeking a Tool and Die Fabricator to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tools and dies in support of our progressive and secondary stamping presses. You will collaborate with design engineers to ensure parts meet drawing criteria and quality standards.

Candidates should have 2+ years in tool and die fabrication, preferably in metal stamping, with knowledge of coining metals, nickel alloys, deep draw, and transfer press techniques.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in tool and die fabrication, preferably in metal stamping.
• Knowledge of coining metals, nickel alloy behavior, deep draw, and transfer press techniques.
• Basic math and trigonometry.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate tool room equipment and related presses.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to meet print criteria.
• Ensure parts meet drawing specifications and pass internal inspection.
• Performs other duties as directed and maintain a safe work area.
