Job summary

PrecisionX Group in Stormville, NY, seeks a skilled Class A Progressive Tool & Die Maker to design, build, troubleshoot, and optimize high-speed progressive stamping dies for microstamping applications.

You will work at the Ditron facility, use Bruderer presses up to 1,300 SPM, handle copper beryllium alloys, and collaborate with the tool room and engineering teams to deliver tight tolerances and reliable tooling.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years progressive die build experience in precision stamping.
• Proven track record building dies for high-volume production.
• Knowledge of GD&T, inspection methods, ISO 9001 familiarity.
• Experience with Copper Beryllium (C17200) alloys preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, bench-test, and repair dies; support production on the shop floor.
• Set up, tune, and run progressive dies on Bruderer high-speed presses.
• Troubleshoot die performance and implement tooling improvements.
