Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in tool and die making.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of milling, turning, grinding and EDM.
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, gauges.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new dies, tools, and fixtures.
• Repair and maintain existing dies and tooling.
• Set up and operate mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to create components.
• Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot tooling-related production issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on design improvements.
