Job summary

The role runs on a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule, Monday–Friday, 1st shift, with strict safety and quality standards. You will read blueprints and specs to ensure precise fabrication and repair work.

Applicants should have 6 months to 1 year of welding experience; NIMS certification preferred. Willingness to work with thermal cutting, grinding, and metal repair processes is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Welding Technology preferred.
• Equivalent combination of technical training, education and hands-on welding experience will be considered.
• NIMS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, arc welding, gas welding and brazing to fabricate and repair metal components.
• Position, align and clamp fabricated parts prior to welding.
• Repair cracked or damaged components and restore surfaces to specifications.
• Operate thermal cutting, grinding and related fabrication equipment.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with production requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair cracks in engine cylinder heads and other components.
• Support production goals with additional duties as assigned.
