Job summary

Qualifications

• NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, arc welding, gas welding, and brazing to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components.
• Position, align, and clamp fabricated parts prior to welding operations.
• Repair cracked, worn, or damaged components; fill holes and restore metal surfaces to required specifications.
• Operate thermal cutting, grinding, and related fabrication equipment.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with production requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair cracks in industrial engine cylinder heads and other equipment components.
• Support production goals by completing additional duties as assigned, with training provided when needed.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Capable of lifting, positioning, and handling metal parts and welding equipment.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, sparks, and welding fumes while following all safety requirements.
• Must successfully complete any required drug screening and fitness‑for‑duty testing.

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
