Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Fab Welder II to join our client’s production team in Aurora, IL. This role focuses on precision TIG welding of chambers and components for level and flow measurement equipment, with emphasis on safety, quality, and process discipline.

Ideal candidates have hands-on TIG welding experience, 3–5 years in welding/fabrication, and the ability to read work instructions.

Qualifications

3–5 years of welding and/or fabrication experience.
Hands-on TIG welding experience is REQUIRED.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Basic computer skills and measurement tools proficiency.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and established procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Responsibilities

Perform precision TIG welding on chambers and components used in level and flow measurement equipment.
Set up and operate welding tools and machinery for fabrication.
Inspect welds and identify defects or nonconforming materials, reporting concerns.
Follow welding procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe workstation following 5S practices.
Identify safety and process improvements with leadership.
