Job summary

Volt is hiring a Machine Operator in Valencia, CA. You will read blueprints, set up machines, adjust tooling, and configure speeds and feeds to produce parts per specs. You will operate and monitor equipment, inspect first articles, and replace worn tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprint or work order to determine product specifications, dimensions, tolerances, parts count, and tool instructions.
• Sets up machines for running jobs and handles higher complexity setups.
• Positions and secures taps to specifications and installs/adjusts tooling to control stock and movements.
• Sets cutting speeds and feed rates, and starts and monitors the machine to verify first-run conformance.
• Replaces worn tools and maintains machine readiness for ongoing production.
